Jesse draws his strength from his faith in God and his amazing family. Jesse and his wife, Christy, were both raised in
Bedford
County and are happy to call it their home. On September 21st of 2006, the couple welcomed their first child, Joshua Davis Topper. Their second child arrived on November 2nd 2008, Jonah Lucas Topper is the new little brother to Joshua.
Jesse has always been active in many aspects of his community. As a young man he participated in 4-H, where he competed in the horse and pony division and he was an active member of Boy Scout Troop 460 of Hyndman. At the age of sixteen Jesse earned the prestigious title of Eagle Scout. He was a three sport athlete for
Bedford
High School, lettering multiple years in football, wrestling, and baseball. Jesse continued his career in athletics after high school, coaching football for his alma mater for seven years and attending Harry Wendelstedt’s School for Professional Umpires. He umpired in the independent Frontier League for two seasons as well as working local high school and college games for an additional three years.
Jesse has had the privilege to serve on the Bedford Borough Council, the
Bedford
Area
School District’s Board of Health and Fitness as well as the Bedford County Chamber of Commerce’s Government Affairs Committee. He currently serves as a member of the Bedford County Republican Committee and sits on the Executive Committee of that body.
Jesse is employed by

Methodist
Church as the Minister of Fine Arts and is an accomplished musician. He has performed extensively throughout the Tri-State area as a solo performer and with his father, John Topper. Jesse obtained his Bachelor's Degree from
Frostburg
State
University and is currently participating in Leadership Bedford County.
